Reducing Greenhouse Gases in UAE


The United Arab Emirates have signed the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change which aims to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases by 5.2% compared to the year 1990. To read more about Kyoto Protocol please visit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol


The UAE also signed an agreement with Japan that will improve the economic relations between the two countries which aim to develop projects that will lead to a reduction in greenhouse gases.

There is also a week of trees in the UAE where they plant trees and another week for cleaning the sea from the dirts. All these things helps reduce the polution and the emission of CO2
