Larger hole in the ozone layer

The ozone layer hole is getting larger each year. It is located above Antarctica and it is a region where there is a severe depletion in the ozone layer. The ozone layer protects us from the ultraviolet rays from the sun which increase the risk of getting skin cancer. The increased size of the hole was blamed on unusual weather patterns which are caused by heat that got trapped from leaving our planet because of greenhouse gas. Each time this hole gets wider, the danger of the harmful rays that comes from the sun increase.
